Outdoor Storywalks

It’s time for some outdoor reading fun…
A StoryWalk® has been installed around the playground at the Town of Gerry Park featuring The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton and at the Village of Sinclairville Park featuring Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCloskey.
A StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children and adults to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Pages from a children’s book are attached to stakes, which are placed along an outdoor path.
Thank you to the Village of Sinclairville and the Town of Gerry for allowing these installations.
Stories will rotate from Gerry to Sinclairville throughout the summer. Be sure to sign our guest book at the end of the story. You can also bring a “I Completed the Storywalk” card to library to select a jibbitz and a book from Chet’s bin.
