Winter Local Author Showcase

Please join us in welcoming:

Romance author Joan Wahl is a lifelong resident of Chautauqua County, but her love of country music and Nashville inspired series set in Music City. Wahl’s stories have a similar Hallmark-movie vibe with some “spice”. Both books in the series, Summer Love in Music City and Falling for Autumn, will be available for purchase by cash or credit card. Joan is targeting an October 2026 release date for book three, Brennan’s Winter Promise.

Multi-genre writer Jason K Bussman debut book is now available. FUMBLE: Just a Dad Trying Not to Drop the Ball is about Bussman’s experiences as a dad, both winning and not winning. Bussman specializes in memoir writing and recently earned an MFA in Creative Professional Writing at Western Connecticut State University.

Rev W Craig Stratton’s Remembrances of a Hospital Chaplain: The Day I Lost My Face is an intimate look into a chaplain’s daily encounters serving individuals and families during their times of greatest vulnerability. Documented in dialogue-filled stories, it sheds light not only on the patient but also on the ways a chaplain is impacted by his work, creating an engaging memoir.

Also featuring writers from our Write Circle Writer’s group, Clark Zlotchew and Richard Knott. Zlotchew has published 19 books and was honored in 2008 with a promotion to the rank of SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Spanish Language and Spanish and Latin American Literatures.
