DESCRIPTION:About Big Give CHQ 2026\nGive Big CHQ is a 24-hour online fundraising event that connects individuals with causes they care about in the community! Hosted by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation\, this event is an opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate the important work of local nonprofit*s\, helping to raise dollars and awareness for their missions. \nSince 2018\, this annual online giving day has helped to raise over $2.3 million to directly support local nonprofits! \nWith your support\, the Sinclairville Free Library can continue to improve accessibility and outreach to our entire community.  \nThis year we are asking for support to continue and build upon our programs and outreach to serve patrons of all ages.\nThe library is more than just books — it is a place where people gather to find community\, learn new skills\, interact with like-minded people\, increase school readiness\, utilize computers\, and create a lifelong love of reading and learning. \nHere’s how your donation will help \n\nExpand our large print section enabling patrons of all abilities the chance to continue reading.\nProvide materials\, books\, and other necessary items for our weekly Story Hour to provide a safe and educational environment for kids of all ages.\nPurchase additional digital materials\, including e-books and audiobooks\, that have high hold lists from our current patrons.\nBring reading on the road for both children and vulnerable adults through rec programs\, story walks\, off-site book clubs\, and writing classes.\n\nYour Give Big CHQ gift will directly help us continue our wide-spread programming\, ensuring that everyone in our community can keep benefitting from the library.
